With the cornerstone laid in 1878, this historic church housed this beautiful-pine pew for nearly a century & a half. Thos pew is made of the rare longleaf pine. Unlike pine sold today, this wood has tight grains, is dense & heavy. Longleaf pines lived up to 500 years but are nearly extinct today from over harvesting. The tree this pew was made from was possibly growing when the pilgrims first came to the Americas. The bench can be used as at the table, entry, patio or bring life and history to any room.
